Ridin' Ned

Took the 10AM N up to Ned today. Wow, it was a full load of mountain bikers. We had about 40 bikes and people on the bus, pretty cool to see all those eco friendly mtb'ers taking public trans. Anyway, once we got up there we headed over to the high school and rode the west mag trails for a while. Then we cross the p2p highway and started the ride back to Boulder on the east mag network. We made it pretty far, but had a couple mishaps along the way and had to finish the ride on the road. Definitely need head back and finish those trails off.

Short Trackin' It

Yesterday I rode the short track race for the first time. It was a fun race with a lot of suffering and even more dust and pollen. By the time I finished the race I could barely breathe, and even today, I have one of those wheezy, deep coughs. Hopefully that clears up soon. This weekend the racing is out west in Glenwood Springs. That's a little too far for me so I am planning on staying local and mtb'ing up in Ned.
